The Arab social and literary heritage is characterized by the “Platonic Love”. This love was clear from lusts or mistakes. This kind of love was very famous in an old Arab tribe. This Arabic term of the “platonic love” was named after this tribe. According to them, the Arab poet loves his beloved and writes erotic poetry for her without dating; he mainly depends upon his devotion and loyalty to his beloved. The poet also writes love poems that describe the beauty of her soul, not the physical beauty.

Love is the greatest feeling at all, and Islam considered it as a humanistic nature that no one can control or prevent. But also there are Islamic rules that polish and refine these beautiful feelings of love and passion to make it able to support the Muslim community by forming happy families in which all members love each other.

But these days, love not any more has its lofty exalted meaning. Now, it became a word that refers to seduction, adultery, and many other bad meanings. Many moral crimes were practiced under the name of love. Now; love is a mere relation between a boy and a girl, this relation has no rules that determine and control it. Consequently, this relation is liable to deviate from the right way. And this was the reason why many people don’t believe in love, and others think that Islam rejected that feeling.

Love turned from being a human nature that no one can live without, to be something bad avoided by many people. So, how can we correct this concept and get love back? And how can we help the youth to realize the difference between love and lust? And how can we help them to face the numerous ways of seduction in TV, internet, and in society in general?

Let’s revive the platonic love; this love that can’t act against morals or religion, but it even acts as a motive to work and to change to be better to get his beloved. It ends with a beautiful wedding party full of joy and happiness.

By this kind of love, we can support morals by its beautiful meanings. It enables us to face many moral forms of corruption in our society and to save the beautiful concept pf love in our mind and get it back to life.
