It is well known that who was subjected to oppression when was young, is more subjected to practice the same oppression on others when grow up. Every body must be rewarded or punished for his deeds. And who had been suffered of violating rights when young, of course he will violate others rights when being adult enough. It seems to be a psychological theory. When considering the childhood of the criminals, rapists, and thieves; we found that they themselves were subjected to the same crimes they commit.

A research study found that 62% of prisoners have turned to crime because of domestic violence. We, by our own hands, make these criminals and dictators and present them to the world.

At the same time of the high developed technology and the freedom of information exchange, there are still some abstractions that prevent the creative minds from going on, preventing the freedom of expression and making numerous blacklists. There are still some prints that are prevented in some countries, as well as obscured web sites . There are still people who support dictators and confiscated people’s freewill .

The act of “prevention” in the Arab world is practiced for different reasons, illogical reasons at all. Some assert that the destructive ideas must be prevented , but there is no proof from the text of the Holy Koran that prevent any kinds of ideas. There is no single line that prevent people from thinking or exchanging information, even if those that are contrasted to the main principles of the religion. On the contrary, Islam calls for believing in God by wisdom and good advice. It is mentioned in the Holy Koran : “ and argue them in the best manner” .

Islam is a very welcoming religion, never prevent or reject an opinion or a thought, it also calls for arguing and discussing who hold or adopt false understanding or misconceptions; showing the mischiefs of them and explain the right understanding of them. Islam did not only present mere ideas and opinions, but it also provides the fields of discussions giving a wide range of lessons, proverbs, and hadiths to prove the sincerity of his call.
The Koran itself is a vivid example for discussion that depends mainly on evidence and logic. The doctrine of Islam could be imposed on people, but Koran gives the space for opinions and arguments to provide the evidence of the sincerity of the Islamic Dawa. It is said in Koran “Bring your proof if you are truthful” .

 Islam is a logical religion that fully understand man’s soul with all stages and conditions. The main reasons of its widespread is the fact that it addresses the mind, discussing logic, and presenting lessons and situations to provide information by several means to achieve conviction, such as : narration, simile, metaphor, quoting, and comparing. And so people were attracted to Islam and gained their interest as it is a religion that encourage thinking and contemplating addressing mind and soul .

To oppress an idea will not prevent it, but it may even help to increase it as the wind helps the flame.

Oppressing ideas and thoughts is a proof of disability. The act of preventing or banning some ideas is out of the disability of discussion and argument, so the easiest way is just to ban an idea or a thought just for being unable to discuss it. But this way gives immortality to the banned idea.

For some people, oppression may have specific profits, but they actually temporary ones. It’s like postponing a problem, that never will be solved in this way, and so on the problems gradually accumulate. Oppression brings ignorance and the disability to choose and differentiate between what is wrong and what is right which will mislead new generations, making them loose their ability to think and act or react.

Dictators who practice oppression should be punished for this crime. Oppression is like forging information and violation of the human rights and the most important; the right of gaining knowledge.

The need of information and enlightenment is as important as the need for air and water for the human body. And preventing such -mental and spiritual- need may cause violence. The most obvious example was what happened in Egypt at 20th January revolution when the regime decided to cut off the internet service, which caused almost all the Egyptian people to go out in squares to express their opinions by actions, not by words typed by a keyboard. This was the most effective flame that fired the revolution.

Teach your kids the real meaning of freedom, let it be the first word they can say, write it everwhere, sing it in every song. Let’s bring new generations to reform the world and fill it with justice and freedom.
